Candles
Crow’s Nest Organic Soy Candles – Great scent and long lasting! (I love their vanilla spice candle)
Natural beeswax candles – We get our honey and candles from a lady on Hwy 140 in Clinton, WI, just north of the Illinois stateline. She has honey and beeswax candles, among other things. She is reasonably priced, doesn’t heat her honey and only lightly filters it. And she’s local! Our family has been buying honey from her for around 30 years. You can add essential oils to the melted wax of the candle for a gentle aroma.
Essential Oils – Add your favorite essential oil, blend or several oils to your diffuser and fill your house full of wonderful smells! It is non-toxic and promotes health and mental well-being. A favorite oil blend that I’m diffusing lately is: 3-4 drops cinnamon bark and 3-4 drops orange oil; today, I tried: 3-4 drops cinnamon bark, 3-4 drops orange and 3 drops clove oil. The kitchen smelled so good!
Other ideas for essential oils to diffuse:
Harvest Blend – 5 drops orange, 3 drops cinnamon, 1 drop clove, 1 drop nutmeg
Air fresheners
