It may only be 3 degrees Fahrenheit outside right now, but it doesn’t matter to me, because the cold means that there is no cloud cover today … it’s actually SUNNY! After a couple of days of drinking mug after mug of tea while being sick with a sinus infection, this morning I decided to make this delicious latte to celebrate being able to smell scents a little again and to enjoy while I sat soaking up a little sun through the window. I can’t really taste much yet, but that’s OK, because I’ve enjoyed it before and know that you will too 😉
The original recipe can be found at Wellness Mama, another one of my favorite websites. Thank you!
Salted Caramel Latte
1 cup organic coffee, herbal coffee or chai tea
1 Tbs. organic coconut oil (or MCT oil)
1 Tbs. organic grassfed butter
sprinkle Himalayan salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. raw honey (or more to taste)
Opt: sprinkle Himalayan salt and drizzle honey on top
Brew coffee, mix all ingredients together in a blender, and blend until smooth. Top with drizzled honey and a sprinkle of salt. Enjoy!
Note: To make a mocha, add up to 1 Tbs. cocoa powder.
